Just a quicky to let you know .......

One or more copies of the Mydoom virus (also know as Novarg or Shimg) is e-mailing itself and using newsletter@prcox.org as the From address.  If you get a copy which appears to have been mailed from any prcox.org address, I just want all my readers to know I did not send it.

For the record, I did receive a copy via e-mail in the first few hours after it was released and before any anti-virus program vendors updated their signature files, but I pegged it as a virus just from the combination of the From and Subject fields in Outlook Express' Inbox file list and did not open it, and I've receive a couple copies since then. Just to be sure that Mydoom or anything else didn't slip by, I've run full anti-virus scans on both my disks two times this month.
